If you decide to hit the Paintball Field, you'll need the proper gear; or you'll get hurt. Badly. There is no sense in taking a risk at losing an eye or getting hit anywhere on your body by a paintball traveling at speeds up to 5000 fps..in a delicate place you'd rather not take a chance with. Along with wearing several layers of clothes to absorb the impact, there are several other precautionary measures you can take in order to prevent injury and damage to your skin.

As you can see from the above pictures that there are some options when it comes time to get suited up for your next paintball game. The guy on the left is equipped with a tight fitting mask along with protective goggles built in. Eye protection is an absolute necessity before taking part in any paintballing activity. He didn't, however decide to wear a padded paintball sweater, which could leave some nice sized marks on your exposed skin. There is no shame in protecting yourself. Besides that, paintballs that do not burst on impact can leave welts on your body and even permanent scarring.

One thing to remember is that the most exposed part of your body during any paintball match could be your hands. You have to hold and aim your Paintball gun in order to shoot and eliminate anyone, leaving your hands exposed. This is why you should always wear padded or protective Paintball gloves whenever you play. Most gloves allow for full range of motion, at least enough to pull the trigger and that's all that really matters. Don't take a chance on ripping your skin to shreds; pick up a set of nice Paintball gloves and you'll thank yourself a million times over.

Wearing the proper paintball gear is important for both men and women, obvious reasons for both. Paintballing is a sport (to some) for all to enjoy. Women have taken a liking to Paintball in recent years and professional paintball players constantly stress the importance of safety over beauty. Not only is the sport fast moving, involve high powered guns and provide a nonstop adrenaline rush; players are at risk every time they take the field. Women, while very capable of competing at a high level of play, need to take extra steps to prevent scrapes, scratches and contusions to the skin. So guys, as much as we'd like to see chics hit the Paintball course in the least amount of clothing, they will need to be as prepared as you are - that means fully clothed and fully protected with the proper Paintball gear.

If this girl actually took these shots from a paintball gun, she wouldn't be looking so content, standing there covered in paint. Truth is, you have to cover your body completely and you really should wear the at least one layer of clothing beneath all of your necessary protective Paintball gear. You should be able to move and and flex in your Paintball clothing, but safety should always be first. Investing in a nice pair of padded Paintball pants, a paintball vest that fits snug and a properly sized mask with paintball goggles should be a good start.
